About Shared Blessings

Meeting Needs … Changing Lives

Shared Blessings began in 1998 through the efforts of Devonna Edwards who desired to clothe children and families in need. Over the years, the ministry has continued to grow now serving over 2500 people every month through a variety of programs. Our on-going goal is to partner with area churches, civic organizations, businesses, corporations, agencies, foundations and individuals to meet a growing number of needs in the area. Many, in our community, are struggling. Shared Blessings, through its generous partners, helps provide a place of compassion and relief. We desire for people to experience the Love of God through the compassion they experience at Shared Blessings.

In 2019, Shared Blessings served…

  • Clothing was provided to 10,690 people – 891 people every month
  • Over 17,000 people received food – nearly 1,437 people every month / 546 families
  • 26,713 bags of food were given to area children
  • 142 families received significant financial assistance
  • 465 families received help with household necessities
  • Over 2,600 transportation vouchers were provided to area individuals
  • 64 beds were provided to area children
